From Recognised Freelance Expert to Premium Choice
How to stop competing on price and start being chosen for your value.
You're not new to this. You've got the experience, the client results, the years in the game. And yet — you're still explaining what you do more than you'd like, still hearing "what's your rate?" before "when can you start?", still watching less experienced people get recognised for work you could do in your sleep.
That's not a confidence problem. It's a positioning problem.

A freelancer who's been through it.
In 2016, I left my corporate career to become a freelancer. It didn't take long to realise that building a successful solo business takes far more than talent or expertise. It requires understanding how a business actually works.
That's why, since 2018, I've been on a mission to help freelancers build stronger businesses through education, events, and community.
I've made many of the same mistakes most freelancers make. I rewrote my LinkedIn headline more times than I can count. I spent hours perfecting beautifully designed proposals. I changed my pricing without really understanding why. None of it solved the underlying problem.
Then a business coach told me something I wasn't ready to hear:
“You don't have a marketing problem. You have a positioning problem.”
That sentence changed how I looked at my business.
Since then, I've been obsessed with understanding what shapes how independent professionals are perceived, chosen, and paid. That journey eventually led me to identify the eight elements that define independent business positioning.
I'm not a business guru. I'm a freelancer who has spent the last decade building, testing, failing, and learning. Along the way, I've had the privilege of learning from more than 400 experts through six editions of Freelance Business Month—but more importantly, I've tested those ideas in my own business.
Everything you'll find here comes from that experience.

An inside look at the iceberg model of positioning
What clients actually see of you — your rate, your portfolio, a LinkedIn post — versus what's really driving (or blocking) how you're perceived: your offer clarity, your visibility, your named expertise, your pricing architecture.
You'll learn:
- Why senior freelancers stay busy but unclear — and how that quietly caps your income
- The difference between having experience and having a position
- Why "everyone already knows my work" is not a visibility strategy
- Why naming your methodology changes how the market perceives the exact same expertise
- Why price is never the real problem — it's the symptom of everything upstream
- An intro to the upcoming FBM Bootcamp
What you'll walk away with
- ✓The iceberg model — a new way to see what's really shaping your positioning
- ✓Clarity on why senior freelancers plateau despite strong skills and results
- ✓A look at the 4-module Bootcamp system: Clarity → Visibility → Authority → Profitability, and 3 business drivers: Passion → Business Drivers → Profitability
- ✓An invitation to join the Bootcamp for the full implementation — with a special offer: full business assessment, hands-on deliverables, guided implementation and live coaching over 4 weeks
This is a preview
The full system lives inside the FBM Bootcamp
